Built by the People Who Use It

Most organizations test accessibility after the fact, adding it as a final checklist item before launch. Access100 works differently. Our development team includes people with disabilities who use screen readers, switch devices, voice control, and other assistive technologies as part of their daily lives. That lived experience is built into every project from the first line of code.

We develop accessible websites from the ground up, applying WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 success criteria at every level: semantic HTML structure, keyboard navigation, color contrast, focus management, responsive design, and screen reader compatibility. We do not treat accessibility as a feature. We treat it as the baseline.

For organizations that already have a digital presence, we provide full accessibility audits that identify barriers, prioritize remediation, and deliver actionable recommendations your team can implement. Our audit reports are written in plain language. Not just for developers, but for project managers, communications staff, and leadership who need to understand what needs to change and why.

Our Services

WCAG-compliant website development covers new builds and major redesigns. We work with your team or independently to deliver sites that meet current accessibility standards and are built to maintain compliance as guidelines evolve.

Accessibility testing and audits assess your existing digital properties against WCAG criteria. We combine automated scanning with manual testing using assistive technology, producing a prioritized report of issues and recommendations. Automated tools catch approximately 30 to 40 percent of accessibility barriers. Manual testing by people who rely on assistive technology catches the rest.

Document and content remediation addresses the PDFs, Word documents, presentations, and other files your organization publishes online. A document that is merely posted on a website is not accessible. We remediate documents to meet PDF/UA standards and WCAG success criteria, ensuring that the content you share is genuinely usable by everyone in your audience.

Procurement and Compliance

Every contract with Access100 directly employs people with disabilities in Hawaiʻi. The work itself is the employment program. When your agency or organization chooses Access100, you are not just meeting a compliance requirement. You are participating in a model that creates real, skilled employment in your community.

Who This Is For

Government agencies, nonprofits, and businesses that publish information online have a legal and ethical responsibility to make that information accessible. This includes state and county departments subject to Section 508 and Hawaiʻi accessibility requirements, nonprofit organizations serving diverse communities, and private businesses seeking to meet ADA obligations and serve all customers.

If you are building something new or inheriting something that was never built with accessibility in mind, Access100 can help.
